An integrated automatic packaging line manufactured by SPS/CAMA featuring primary flowrapping at up to 600 bars per minute has recently been installed at the largest producer of cereal bars in France.

The customer’s criteria for the line was to be able to handle the total production of a range of sticky products at high speed on a single wrapping line working 24 hours per day. SPS solution was to supply an in-line “no-contact pressure less” feeding system to maintain precise control of the bars without any accumulation, before transferring them into the latest version of the fully electronic Modulo wrapping machine which has been developed specifically for high speed continuous operation. The secondary packaging line is composed of a top load carton forming machine, a 2-axis loading robot, a 3 flap closing machine and a wrap-around case packer machine.
