In recent years, Cama has developed tailored solutions also in the non-food sector, by designing more compact plants with different characteristics above the normal requirement found in the food industry. One of the latest successful installations in this sector was obtained by a leading manufacturer of ink-jet cartridges.
We’re talking about a completely electronic case packer that can package 150 products per minute in wrap-around cases at (20 cases/min). The cartridges are loaded vertically in wrap-around cases, always ensuring a positive control of the product. Special removable strips on the case enable the package to be suitable for presenting the product – as a "shelf ready package".
