Cama North America and the Break-Through Generation Machines at Pack Expo West 2015 in Las Vegas
After expanding their sales, manufacturing and aftermarket service to cover the United States, Canada and Mexico, Cama USA is now doing business as Cama North America. Cama North America provides one-stop sourcing for integrated robotic, cartoning, case packing and sleeving solutions. Cama North America provides primary and secondary machinery and systems for food, beverage, personal care and pharmaceutical packaging operations.
Cama NA will display their new Break-Through Generation of machines, including both cartoning and top load robotics. Such machinery is the result of TPM analysis that Cama Group started to further reduce its machines footprint, by integrating the electrical and pneumatic components control cabinets into the machine pedestals angles, minimizing cabling and making it easier to place the utility devices where they are needed and accessible.
A new Side Loading concept, called CL175, was engineered by Cama to offer maximum flexibility and efficiency. This System is designed to meet the expectations of customers looking for a solution capable of attaining rapid changeover to different speeds, product sizes and at times relevant product variations and carton dimensions. This is not simply a New Cartoner, but a COMPLETE SYSTEM which can be an alternative to a Cartoner and a Top Loading Unit.
The IF316 Monoblock Loading Unit, on show for the first time in the USA in Las Vegas, is a flexible, outstanding small footprint packaging system with: integrated box forming; loading and closing all in one frame; no hollow body structure; soft touch buttons; off-the-shelves electronics; PLC less technology; external cabinet free (integrated in the machine frame); Cama Triaflex “Delta Style Robot” as a loading unit; highly accurate carton handling; appealing ergonomics and improved accessibility; flat blank magazine at waist level; innovative box closing manipulator.
